We specialize in rescuing the animals that other organizations are unable to help.  Many of our cats come to us with medical and behavioral problems that while treatable, would over-burden the capabilities of large, high-volume shelters.  These animals need the individual attention offered to all of our residents through our foster home network and working relationship with local veterinary hospitals.  All Purrfect Haven cats undergo extremely thorough medical evaluations and testing before being placed for adoption.  Our team works hard to ensure our cats are as healthy as possible before placing them up for public adoption.

ADOPTING A PET FROM PURRFECT HAVEN ALLOWS US TO SAVE ANOTHER ANIMAL THAT WOULD OTHERWISE HAVE NO CHANCE.

All of our cats have been fostered in private homes and will never go up for adoption straight off the street.  We know their personalities and preferences, likes and dislikes, and any special needs they may have.  This information helps us to ensure that each cat is matched with the perfect family during the adoption process. 

Active duty military families must provide proof of a prior PCS with a pet in order to adopt.  For all applicants a veterinary reference is required, you may not declaw our cats, and we recommend that all kittens go to homes where there is another playful, friendly cat.  

Our adoption package includes:

spay/neuter
current Rabies & Distemper vaccines

microchipping
FeLV/FIV test
fecal & Giardia Elisa test
parasite control

You will also receive a starter kit filled with goodies such as a free bag of premium cat food, bag of cat toys, a feather flyer, catnip sample, and more!  We also give you all the information you will need to help introduce your new pet into your family and home and will provide you with behavioral help for the life of the pet should any difficulties arise in the future.

Our standard cat adoption fee is $90 for adult cats and $115 for kittens under the age of one year with a $10 per cat discount for multiple kittens (e.g. $210 for 2 kittens). For purebred and purebred/purebred-cross cats our fees range from $125-$200. We do require an application for all adoptions along with a veterinary reference (we will accept one from a family member if this is your first pet), just email us and we can send you an application.
