Why should you adopt a Purr-Fect Haven cat? We are a small, volunteer-run, foster-based private rescue. All of our cats have been fostered in private homes and will never go up for adoption straight off the street. We know their personalities and preferences, likes and dislikes, and any special needs they may have. This information helps us to ensure that each cat is matched with the perfect family during the adoption process.  

 

Some of our cats come to us with medical and behavioral problems that -- while treatable -- would overburden the capabilities of large, high-volume shelters. These animals need the individual attention offered to all of our cats through our foster home network and working relationships with local veterinary hospitals.

 

All Purrfect Haven cats undergo extremely thorough medical evaluations and testing before being placed for adoption. Our team works hard to ensure our cats are as healthy as possible before placing them up for public adoption.

 

Our adoption package includes:

--spay/neuter

--current Rabies & Distemper vaccines

--microchipping

--FeLV/FIV test

--fecal & Giardia Elisa test

--parasite control

You will also receive a gift kit filled with goodies such as a free starter bag of premium cat food, bag of cat toys, a feather flyer, and more!  We also give you all the information you will need to help introduce your new pet into your family and home and will provide you with behavioral help for the life of the pet should any difficulties arise in the future.

Our standard cat adoption fee is $90 for adult cats and $115 for kittens under the age of one year with a $10 per cat discount for multiple kittens (e.g. $210 for 2 kittens). For purebred and purebred/purebred-cross cats our fees range from $125-$200.
